ADU Grant Program
Application deadline May 1, 2024
Eligibility
The homeowners must meet eligibility requirements and complete construction within two years.
Amount
Up to $75,000 for planning, permitting and construction of an ADU.
Terms
ADUs must meet all town codes and zoning requirements.
Rents charged must remain at or below the voucher payment standard as defined by Maine Housing for the York-Kittery-South Berwick HMFA.
Rent restrictions will remain in place for 10 years from the date of initial ADU occupancy.
